Regina Parys made this fun and super duper scrappy quilt for her daughter as  a picnic blanket. I love the ant fabric for the backing!  Quilted with an overall meander.

I just listened to the Alexandria Link by Steve Berry.  I really like his books, besides being written well they combine history and fiction, sort of along the lines of National Treasure.  This one brings up some very intriguing questions about the Old Testament, Palestine and Israel.

Madelon Molfino made this adorable fish quilt for her grandson.  Quilted with an overall water pattern.

I just finished the second book in the Charley Davidson series by Darynda Jones, Second Grave on the Left. Light reading but very, very entertaining.  Lorelei King is the narrator who I absolutely love from the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evonovich!

Lou from The Quilt Store made this gorgeous quilt that will be a new BOM! Check this beauty our in person.

I found a new series that reminds me so much of the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evonavich, that I really had a hard time believing it was not Evonavich writing under a pen name!  It is the Charley Davidson series by Darynda Jones.  It is funny, sarcastic and light!  The first book is First Grave on the Right.

A very unique and fun quilt made by Cathy Morgan.  Quilted with an overall feather.

I just finished listening to The Twelve Tribes of Hattie, by Ayana Mathis.  This is a debut book and I thought, well written.  Check out the review - and don’t overlook it just because Oprah put it on her reading list!
